Unredacted nothingness

WHAT PART OF ‘NOTHING TO SEE HERE’ DON’T THEY UNDERSTAND?

Certain Members of Congress are still demanding that an unredacted version of the Mueller Report be released … which may sound good to the masses, but would involve commission of several felonies. Members of Congress with staff members smarter than they are — that’s just about all of them — know this. So what we’re hearing is the shrill bitching and moaning of grandstanding partisan hacks who at best deserve to be ignored.

Attorney General Billy Barr.
Could you repeat that in English, Senator?

Attorney General Barr has in fact made an unredacted version of the report available for confidential review by Congress Reps and Senators. As of today, thank God there have been no injuries caused by the stampede of our esteemed MOCs to Barr’s reading room.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham:
“I read the whole doggone thing, and dammit, there ain’t no there there!”
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker:
‘When did you stop spying for Putin, Mr. Barr? And hey, did I mention I’m running for president?’

Indeed, all of .037% have taken Barr up on his offer. That’s 2 out of 535. More will follow, but not many. Why? Because they already know darn well what the report says. They are in full denial, dizzied by a perpetual spin cycle. Besides, there are no cameras or satellite links to “Morning Joe” in the AG’s library, and the MOC-only commissary has better coffee.

There’s a whole country at their doorsteps, and work to be done. Instead, we get theater of the absurd from elected officials so obsessed with hate of an all-too-easy-to-hate president that they didn’t hear the final whistle. Two years. A room full of partisan attorneys with full subpoena power. And no collusion, unless you count Hillary Clinton’s link to a lying British spy and trumped up FISA warrants.

Game over, clowns. Focus on 2020 and get back to work.
